Correctly organised files ensure that your product is processed by the Product Team as quickly as possible to get your products live. With that in mind, we ask that you do the following:
- Our team personally check that your product files match your product description, to avoid any customer confusion or complaints. Imagine that your product description mentions ’50 decorative elements’ and the customer struggles to find these ‘decorative elements’ within their download. Not an ideal experience! For this reason, we kindly ask that your product files match your product description. We recommend that if your product description references ’50 abstract shapes’ that the relevant product folder is named accordingly (e.g.: ‘abstract shapes’) rather than ‘extra elements’ or something unclear. This extra consistency between description and file/folder naming creates an incredibly positive customer experience, which is something we always champion. This is especially important as when our team performs their product checks, if files appear to be missing, they will not be able to publish your product.
- Product file sizes should never exceed 2GB (zipped). This is because many of our community live in countries where internet speeds prohibit downloading larger files. We understand that many larger products exceed 2GB and so kindly ask that any larger products are split into parts. For example: If your product is 8GB, we would recommend splitting this into 4 parts, each 2GB or less. To provide the best customer experience, we recommend naming split files appropriately (e.g.: ‘product-name-shop-name-part-1.zip’ ‘product-name-shop-name-part-2.zip’ etc…)
- All readme documents, product guides, PDF guides must not include references to other design marketplaces. Including a reference to your own website is completely fine.
- Product folder/file names must not include any special characters such as !,£,$,%,^,*, & as this will cause issues for Windows Users.
If you have any further questions though, please contact our Product Team and they will be happy to help!
